Our HistoryThe Loveland Pickleball Club, LLC was founded in June of 2012 to promote the growth of pickleball in the greater Loveland community and to provide playing and training opportunities for all members. The LPC started with a core of less than 20 players sharing two pickleball courts with dual striping over one tennis court. In its first year, the Loveland Pickleball Club, LLC grew to 55 members due to the game’s popularity. As of 2026, LPC membership stands at 600+ active members with skill levels up to 4.5. The membership growth is a direct result of the LPC's focus on the playing opportunities, skill development, and training opportunities. This focus has fostered growth from Loveland and surrounding communities. 2026 Board of directors |
President, Diane Dynes Diane began playing (PC pre-covid) took lessons at Chilson and was hooked! She has organized recreational group play for several years. Served on LPC Board as Secretary and is currently beginning her second year as LPC President. Diane is looking forward to continuing on the Board with focus on promoting the many benefits of playing pickleball. Presides over all LPC meetings and is accountable for the administration of all LPC business. Shall carry out the direction and policies established by the Board, provide regular updates to membership, maintain community outreach and is the principal liaison with the Parks and Recreation Department.
Treasurer, Frank Hayes When Frank retired and moved to Colorado, he found himself looking for ways to get outdoors, exercise and meet new people. This led him to take a beginners pickleball course—and quickly became hooked. He's continuously working on his game and at the end of the day, he tries to remember that nobody will recall the score, but they will remember how you made them feel about playing. He looks forward to working on the Board and helping promote LPC. Handles all LPC financial receipts and payments. The primary signatory on the LPC debit card. Responsible for filing all required statements at the end of each year. |
Mike Yoder, Vice President Three years ago, Mike thought he would try Pickleball. So he ventured out and took a course which let to further courses, league play and expert instruction classes. He enjoyed it so much that he's now helping support Loveland Pickleball and volunteering for the Board to help promote the Club. Performs all duties of the President in the event of the President's absence or inability to perform. Provides assistance for Court Operations as needed.
Court Operations, Alex Persinger Alex grew up playing a myriad of sports, but tennis really hit the mark. which he played through high Responsible for monitoring all court reservations. Responsible for coordinating league play, ladder play and LPC social events. |
Secretary, Sharon Parsons Sharon Parsons is a longtime tech professional turned passionate pickleball advocate. As Secretary and Website Manager, Sharon will make sure members always know what’s happening and can easily find what they need. When she is not posting on the website, you can find her on the courts working on her game and Responsible for maintaining LPC website including all event information & registrations, posting newsletters, Board/Annual meeting minutes, Sponsor information and LPC event photos. Provides overall support as needed. |
