Our HistoryThe Loveland Pickleball Club, LLC was founded in June of 2012 to promote the growth of pickleball in the greater Loveland community and to provide playing and training opportunities for all members. The LPC started with a core of less than 20 players sharing two pickleball courts with dual striping over one tennis court. In its first year, the Loveland Pickleball Club, LLC grew to 55 members due to the game’s popularity. As of 2025, LPC membership stands at 625+ active members with skill levels up to 4.5. The membership growth is a direct result of the LPC's focus on the playing opportunities, skill development, and training opportunities. This focus has fostered growth from Loveland and surrounding communities. 2025 Board of directors |
President, Diane Dynes Diane began playing (PC pre-covid) took lessons from Bob at Chilson and was hooked! The last few years, she has organized recreational group play, participated in club events and served on LPC Board as Secretary. Diane is looking forward to continuing on the Board in this new role with focus on promoting the many benefits of playing pickleball. Presides over all LPC meetings and is accountable for the administration of all LPC business. Shall carry out the direction and policies established by the Board. Has the responsibility for managing community outreach and is the principal liaison with the Parks and Recreation Department. Treasurer, Patty Lowe Patty came to pickleball out of curiosity and the desire to get into an active game. She had a friend she would see almost every Sunday who talked about how much fun pickleball was, how easy it was to learn and she got more and more interested. Her husband found a listing for a pickleball expo in the Chilson catalog the first spring they lived in Loveland & she was hooked from the first contact with the ball. "I feel like a kid playing on the playground again because of all the laughs we have and people we meet."
Handles all LPC financial receipts and payments. The primary signatory on the LPC debit card. Responsible for filing all required statements at the end of each year. | ![]() Linda Siegrist, Vice President Linda Siegrist began playing pickleball after retiring and moving to Colorado in 2018. She found the recreation department classes being taught by Bob Monroe. She continues to play with a variety of groups on a weekly basis. She also enjoys, hiking, kayaking, bicycle riding and fly fishing, all the great activities to be enjoyed in Colorado. She resides in the town of Loveland and has been a member of the Loveland Pickle Ball Club since 2019. Performs all duties of the President in the event of the President's absence or inability to perform.Court Operations Director, Roberta Cox Growing up playing tennis, pickleball was a natural fit for Roberta. In 2019, she bought her first paddle (dubbed the Fisher Price paddle) before taking a lesson through the Parks Department and has been enjoying ever since. On the courts, she is always celebrating the "1" with the laughter and camaraderie of her people! Responsible for all court reservations. Responsible for maintaining LPC-owned equipment. Responsible for coordinating league play, ladder play and LPC tournaments. Responsible for LPC play and special events for all skill levels. | Secretary, Lesli Bruden Lesli has played pickleball off and on the the past 8 years, but moving to Loveland in 2022 really led her to get much more active in the game. Pickleball and her new Loveland church have been the two primary ways she and her husband JP have met new acquaintances and made friends. Lesli also enjoys skiing, reading, and working at the Food Bank. Lesli looks forward to meeting even more LPC members in her new role as secretary. Responsible for issuing notices of all meetings of the Board and General Membership meetings. Keeps the minutes thereof, conducts all correspondence relating to LPC business. And is responsible for maintaining a roster of current members. |
